Want to get active in the Obama-Biden campaign? We encourage you to reach out to your local Democratic Party precinct captain or Obama for America neighborhood team and work to get out the vote near where you live. You can find local OFA events through the Barack Obama website.
We will share events of all kinds, whether Muslims for Obama activities or general volunteer opportunities with OFA, through our Facebook or Twitter accounts. Be sure to like and follow us there so that you receive this information.
Types of activities you can do include registering voters, helping people get voter ID (if applicable), making voter persuasion calls at a phone bank or from your own home, canvassing to get out the vote, driving voters to the polls on Election Day, or serving as an election monitor. Your local campaign office may also be looking for people to do data entry, prepare mailings, or other behind-the-scenes tasks. Whatever your talents, there is something you can do!
